SYNOPSIS
A family of giraffes stroll through civilisation. Startled and disorientated, they interact with everything they encounter. Their curiosity leads them into situations that are as surreal as they are poetic. This delicate, elegant show is devised to be performed in the streets. An elevated non-verbal production for audiences of all ages.

PRESS
The street show Girafes, one of the acts in Mao’s Children’s Theatre Festival, yesterday startled pedestrians who happened to be in Maó’s centre with its originality, beauty and, above all, the giraffes’ size. These three cheeky creatures, strolling through the city, were almost three metres high. Gemma Andreu. 15/5/2016. Es Diari. Menorca …) reaching into people’s hearts with such precision, pulling one’s gaze, changing attitudes and nonverbally awakening reactions of incredible tenderness. That was one of the greatest gifts that life has given us from a human hand (…) José Luis Rondon. 14/05/2006. Bailadores. Venezuela Magic and spectacular. The three giraffes fascinate wherever they go, while children are hypnotised by their presence. As they play with their audience, they radiate tenderness and charm. Ferran Baile. FETEN 2014
